Founded in 1951, GUTMAR was born from the hands of Juan Martorell and Bernabé Gutierrez, two master industrialists who began their professional careers at the now-defunct Elizalde aircraft engine manufacturing company.

In 2018, Gutmar moved to the Sant Cugat plant, significantly expanding its production facilities (from 3,000 m² to 15,000 m²), with a focus on growth to meet the growing demand of its customers.
